Health and Safety Policy

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) both R&L Enterprises Ltd and its employees have general legal provisions imposed upon them.

It is the policy of this company to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act with the safe working practices outlined in associated Health and Safety Regulations and Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

R & L Enterprises Ltd will as far as reasonably practicable provide:

  • A safe place of work with safe means of access and egress
  • A safe working environment with safe tools, plant, equipment & safe systems of work
  • A safe use, handling, storage and transportation of articles and substances
  • Instruction and training to staff in known safety hazards, a safe system of work and the use of any safety systems or safety equipment provided
  • An organisational structure that ensures this Health and Safety Policy will be implemented in full and updated as appropriate
  • A written statement of the company’s Health and Safety Policy, safety responsibilities and organisation
  • Consultation with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety
  • Review and revise this policy as necessary and at regular intervals

This company’s health and safety objective is to assess all significant risks to its employees (and other visitors to our premises) and to develop and implement pro-active measures aimed at eliminating those risks or at least minimising them as far as reasonably practical.
